Holiday Home Tour

Welcome here everyone!  As I mentioned in a previous post, Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and one of the things I enjoy the most about this season is being able to create an inviting space for family and friends.

I know there are people in my life who think I go overboard with the Christmas decor, but this is just one of those creative outlets that I let myself enjoy.

This year, I was really inspired by the minimalist/Scandinavian trend – which, for me, means lots of greenery, monochromatic decor, simple details, and cohesion.  On that note, I hope you all enjoy this little Holiday Home Tour!  I’m really happy with how everything has turned out… so far 😉

On Judgy-Mommies

On Judgy-Mommies

I wrote a post two weeks ago about my experience with breastfeeding, and the whole time I was writing it, I was feeling nervous about posting it. Which is ridiculous, because, first of all, I wasn’t really saying anything controversial… and secondly… it’s MY blog and it was MY experience with breastfeeding that I was seeking to share.

So – why did I hesitate before hitting “publish”?

Capsule Wardrobe: Part 2

Capsule Wardrobe: Part 2

Ok, so I think I have FINALLY finished creating my capsule wardrobe for Fall 2017!  I have to admit, this was probably the hardest one I’ve ever created!  I just couldn’t decide what direction to go in with some of my pieces.  Additionally, I found a few really fun items that just didn’t incorporate well, so I had to make some hard decisions about what to include and what to pass on.

However, despite the frequent purchases, I often find myself staring into my cluttered closet – or my kids closets, for that matter – and thinking “there’s nothing to wear”.

Not sure if any of you can relate to this feeling, but I hear it’s pretty common.

Miss Molly Blythe

Miss Molly Blythe

One of the reasons I decided to start up my blog again, after a two-year hiatus, was because I love documenting and re-reading the details of my children’s birth stories.  I wrote about Ben’s arrival right after he was born in July of 2013; earlier this summer, as I scrolled through some of my old blog posts, I realized that I had written out details from that experience that are already beginning to fade from my memory.

Why I Love Starbucks

Why I Love Starbucks

I recently decided to start blogging again.  Admittedly, I wasn’t the best at blogging the last time I decided to give this forum of expression a try, but I’m hoping to do a little better this time around.  I wasn’t really sure what to write about to get back into the swing of things on here until the other day, when I was sitting alone in a Starbucks between appointments, reminiscing.
